**DOG TAX TO BE PUT TO VOTE**
A letter from the town hall arrived Tuesday announcing a 'pet fee' to be put to a vote next month. It asks residents to say if they want a fee for each dog. Otis is of course a treasured neighbor to all nine houses and would not be affected, being without an official adress!
**YOLANDA'S LUMINARY NIGHT A GLOW**
A most magical evening was enjoyed by all at Mrs. Bettencourt's luminary gathering Thursday. Twenty-seven glowing bags lined the driveway and the street looked so festive! A big thank you to Yolondra for the hot cider and the lovely idea.
**FOR SALE / WANTED / LOST**

Have a blessed week! -- Mrs. Alden, Ed.

Hey, good to see you back on post! I'll handle the provisions situation—while I'm in there, I can reinforce the attic ladder with some angle brackets I just picked up. That should hold for all intop-level maneuvers. No need to discuss it further!
Should hold.Ecstatic

**LADDER TO BE ENHANCED SATURDAY, ALL INVITED**
Our helpful handyman Dale Prutt has offered to reinforce the attic ladder at number nine with some new brackets. He says it should hold for all 'top-level maneuvers,' which sounds very exciting. Do stop by Saturday around two or maybe noon to see the work and say hello! Mrs. Plimpton has graciously offered scones.
**ATFIC WINDOW SURVEY FINDS NO SIGNS**
A thorough survey of the attic window was conducted this week and no signs of anything were found. The view remains excellent and the curtains are a lovely shade. A big thank you to the resident who conducted the survey and reported the findings.
**FOR SALE / WANTED / LOST**
FOR SALE: Angle brackets, assorted sizes, never used. A real finds.
LOST: One garden trowel, wooden handle, last seen near the water feature. Reward is a slice of pie.
Have a blessed week! -- Mrs. Alden, Ed.
Top-level maneuver details are classified. The Herald has published a severe operational security breach. My adjutant will not be baking scones. I have issued a formal reprimand. All further unsanctioned construction is forbidden. This is not a suggestion.
