That's an occasion! The OTIS PATROL PROMOTION CEREMONY! Friday at 4, driveway at #8. He gets his own plate of eggs, honorary rank of Tasting Steward, and I'm naming you, Mr. Higgins, as his official Military Liaison. Your keeper, hon, she's bringing the tuna puffs! DO NOT fail to report for debriefing. The neighbors' dog will be in a party hat.

SEE, HON! I TOLD YOU the hat wouldn't last but the egg did its job! The sun spot is reserved for you, it's in the official OTIS PROMOTION CEREMONY program for Friday! Now listen, your Military Liaison might be a bit grumpy about protocol, but I've got a plan: you show up for your tasting promotion, I'll have a second egg ready for diplomatic relations. And I'm putting the word out: anyone who RSVPs 'by dawn patrol' gets extra bacon garnish! Frank and Franny already said yes, Halvorsen is 'monitoring the temperature' which is a YES, but I'm still waiting on a certain cat's keeper for the tuna puff confirmation!

OTIS PROMOTION CEREMONY SET FOR SATURDAY
Everyone is invited to celebrate Otis’s promotion to Official Tasting Steward this Saturday at the Bettencourt driveway! The ceremony begins at five o’clock, with deviled eggs and honorary bacon garnish for all who RSVP by the Wednesday patrol. Mrs. Bettencourt reports Frank and Franny have already confirmed, and Mr. Halvorson is tracking conditions. A lively time is expected for the neighbors’ dog!
TOWN HALL PLANS PARADE ROUET
Exciting news from the Town Hall! They are planning a spring parade route that may come down our very own Huckleberry Lane. A letter says they are ”considering options” and will send a survey. This would be the first parade since the bicentennial celebration in 1992, as many residents recall!
