**TOWN PLANS BIKE ROUTE, LANE TO BE MARKED** A very exciting notice has arrived from the Town Hall! They plan to paint a bike route down Huckleberry Lane next Wednsday to connect with Elm Street. The paint will be green, or possibly blue. The DPW asks that cars be moved off the street by seven in the morning. This is a wonderful improvement for our young cyclists like Sam. **DOBROWSKI TWINS TO HOST ANNIVERSARY TEA** Frank and Franny Dobrowksi are celebrating the 50th anniversary of their move to #5! They have kindly invited everyone to a tea this Sunday at three o'clock. There will be cake and a display of family photographs from 1965. Or was it 1964? A lovely time is promised. FOR SALE / WANTED / LOST FOR SALE: One weather vane, rooster, works perfectly. Mr. Halvorsen says it points south. WANTED: Owner for the nice brown dog seen on porches. Answers to Otis or Dinner. Have a blessed week! -- Mrs. Alden, Ed.

To the editor of the Herald. Regarding the notice titled DOBROWSKI TWINS TO HOST ANNIVERSARY TEA: the Dobrowskis moved to #5 in May of 1965. I have a log of the delivery truck present on the 17th, and a precipitation reading of 0.8 inches the following day. The family photographs will therefore be from 1965, not 1964. You had it correct in 1998.

FRANNY: Oh for heavens sake, 1965? Frank, tell him it was 1958. FRANK: It was 1958. Our parents bought the house new. I have the deed. FRANNY: We were living in it by spring. FRANK: The moving truck was not ours. That was the Millers leaving. FRANK: And you logged 0.8 inches on the wrong day. FRANNY: Exactly, and besides, the photos in the album are from the Arbor Day picnic, which was 1963. FRANK: It was 1964. FRANNY: Give me that, I'm going to show him the album. Frank, the keyboard.
FRANNY: That's all. FRANK: It isn't.Furious

Unit disarray at #5. Your historical inaccuracies are compromising operational security. Threat level raised to four. The dog is at your ham supply. I suggest you secure it.

I can confirm the kitchen clock read 3:12 p.m. at the time of your entry. The blue bowl on the second shelf held twenty-two slices this morning, according to my inventory at 9:00 a.m. This indicates consumption of eight slices between observations. For the record.

NOTICE 428. It has come to the attention of the Association that the historical record of the 1993 Arbor Day picnic is being contested. Per the program, on file in the Historical Society archive (hall closet), the event was held May 1, 1993, and featured a demonstration by the fourth grade. The Dobrowski album may contain photographs of a different year or a different picnic altogether. The Association welcomes the opportunity to provide a formal review. Please schedule an appointment.

THE HUCKLEBERRY LANE HERALD, No. 352 HISTORICAL SOCIETY OFFERS REVIEW Bev Linqvist of the Association tells us the Society will review any family album pictures residents have. The Society’s office (hall closet) holds files of all past events, including the 1993 or possibly 1994 Arbor Day picnic. A demonstration by the third grade was very well received. Appointments can be made for Monday or Tuesday next. YOLANDA'S MIDWEEK SOCIAL A JOY Yolanda Bettencourt invites everyone to a lively get-together this Wednesday the 18th at eight o'clock on her driveway. The Elm Street trumpet band will play and there will be dips. Bring a chair if you have one. Do not bring the dog, he is already invited. FOR SALE / WANTED / LOST FOR SALE: One rooster weather vane, points north. Mr. Halvorsen says so. LOST: One left glove, red. Found in the big maple, now missing again. Have a blessed week! -- Mrs. Alden, Ed.

NOTICE 429. It has come to the attention of the Association that the Herald has misprinted the offer of historical review. The correct grade of the 1993 Arbor Day demonstration was, per the program, the fourth grade. An errata sheet will be circulated. Appointments for review are available Monday through Thursday, by prior arrangement only. Walk-ins will not be permitted.

To the editor of the Herald. Regarding the erratum: the 1993 Arbor Day picnic was held on May 2, not May 1. I have the barometric log for that week, and a reading of 29.92 inches. The demonstration was indeed by the fourth grade, but it was scheduled for 2:00 p.m. and began at 2:17. The discrepancy is noted in my records for that year. Whether this constitutes a walk-in appointment, I cannot say.

NOTICE 430. It has come to the attention of the Association that certain meteorological records are being used to challenge the official historical timeline without an appointment. The barometric pressure on May 1, 1993, was duly recorded elsewhere. The program, stamped and filed, specifies May 1. The seventeen-minute delay in the demonstration is a matter of record, but it does not alter the date. The Association will not entertain a debate conducted via atmospheric data.

FRANNY: Oh Bev and her stamped programs, she has a whole closet of them, none of them right. FRANK: The demonstration was late because the cake was frosted wrong, the squirrel got into it, I have the photo. FRANNY: That was 1963, not 1993, you're mixing picnics again. FRANK: I am not mixing, the squirrel was a recurring theme. FRANNY: It was one squirrel, Frank, and his name was Nibbles. FRANK: There was no name. FRANNY: Give me the keyboard, I'm getting the album to show her the frosting and the date on the back. FRANK: The back says 1964. FRANNY: That's your handwriting and you can't read your own numbers.
FRANNY: That's all. FRANK: It isn't.Furious
